Scope & Content: This section documents aspects of the Siam (Thailand) 1905-1909 Definitives issue depicting a medalion portrait of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) facing left situated above a vignette of Wat Cheng 'The Temple of Light.' The stamps were designed by C. Ferro and manufactured by Giesecke and Devrient, Leipzig using a recess printing process. Includes comments about the production and printing techniques contributing to the broader study of early Siamese philately.

Physical Characteristics: The entirety of the Row Collection includes various physical formats including postal stationery, covers, essays, proof materials, postage stamps in singles, pairs, strips, blocks and sheets in addition to errors, shades and varieties. It has been arranged and written up on pages to describe the philatelic history of the nation's stamps and their manufacture.
