Scope & Content: This section documents aspects of the Siam (Thailand) 5 May 1910-15 June 1910 Definitives issue. Designed by C. Tamano, the stamps were designed and manufactured by the security printing firm Giesecke and Devrient, Leipzig using a recess printing process. The design features a medallion portrait of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) facing left held up by a Garuda. Includes comments about the production and printing techniques contributing to the broader study of early Siamese philately.

Physical Characteristics: The entirety of the Row Collection includes various physical formats including postal stationery, covers, essays, proof materials, postage stamps in singles, pairs, strips, blocks and sheets in addition to errors, shades and varieties. It has been arranged and written up on pages to describe the philatelic history of the nation's stamps and their manufacture.
