A Valid Social Security Card is a National Identification Card; BUT WE DO NOT HAVE ONE!!! As the linked section of the Code of Federal Regulations 20 CFR § 422.520 confirms the Social Security Administration (SSA) is required by this regulation to use FORM OA-702 Social Security Number Card and OAAN-5028—Evidence of Application for Social Security Number Card. https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-20/chapter-III/part-422/subpart-F/section-422.520 Neither of these Forms are used by SSA, and as a result you do not have a valid Social Security number card, nor evidence you applied for one. Instead counterfeits of these Forms are used.
