Veteran did you know that your VA "HEALTHeVET" report is classified CONFIDENTIAL?? A Confidential classification (and Top Secret / Secret) is only used for matters of national security. President Regan issued Executive Order 12356 dealing with National Security Information, and specifically forbids classifying information as national security information to conceal violations of law, inefficiency and administrative errors. https://www.archives.gov/federal-register/codification/executive-order/12356.html Sec. 1.6 Limitations on Classification. (a) In no case shall information be classified in order to conceal violations of law, inefficiency, or administrative error; to prevent embarrassment to a person, organization, or agency; to restrain competition; or to prevent or delay the release of information that does not require protection in the interest of national security. VA Records with errors being classified CONFIDENTIAL is a matter of national security, not a personal issue. What can you do about it?? for myself I plan on starting by filing an incident report with the VA Police See the video for more details.
