AWOL VETERANS --- RETURN TO MILITARY CONTROL

Veteran, there is every good chance that you have been 'dropped from the rolls' as a deserter because of errors and omissions in official records. In such a capacity any pay, allowances or other benefits would be withheld until you returned to military control, and your 'absence' is excused. It also has a very adverse effect on your exemption from civilian court proceedings such as the indictment of a grand jury. But what if you turn yourself in ? Could, your absence can be excused, can you be paid (Base, or Retirment), collect allowances, could you be issued a Geneva Conventions Identification Card, etc.. Could you force the release of a Veteran who is being held by 'civil authorities' that failed to contact the military about your apprehension by simply contact the military and claim the Veteran is AWOL/Deserter status, causing an investigation into the incarceration of a military member by civilians ?
