Scituate Fire Department's Firefighter Survival Training

The Scituate Fire Department along with several other neighboring fire departments are taking part in a Firefighter Survival Training. The 3-day training is made possible by a $195,000 grant from FEMA to the Firefighters grant program. In this training, firefighters learn how to drop down through a ceiling by wrapping their arms around a beam and rolling head first.
