Brochure displaying Mistral, a script foundry type designed by Roger Excoffon and first cast by Fonderie Olive in Marseille in 1953. Six-panel leaflet 285 x 150 mm, printed in dark green and deep chrome yellow. Lettergieterij Amsterdam cast Mistral on Anglo-American body sizes from 1955; this English-language brochure (number 55.4.5.7.1-) is set in Mistral and De Roos Roman and printed in the Netherlands, naming Graphic Arts Equipment as distributors of the type in Great Britain. This copy belonged to the letterpress printer Desmond Jeffery.
